Storage Sunday – My photo storage & organisation

Hello scrappy peeps! After a few weeks vacation I find myself with a whole bunch of new photos and memories to scrapbook. Between my “big” camera as well as often taking photos with my smartphone and my little lomo, I accumulated around 2000 photos in three weeks. I will probably only scrappbook a handfull of those photos, but the ones I print out, hoping to scrapbook, I need to store and keep organised, and this is how I do it right now. First of all, the storage: I keep one container with separate cases that are the perfect size for 4×6 photos, and one …

Storage Sunday – How I store my embellishments, revisited

Hello everyone! Time for another Storage Sunday, and this time I felt I needed to revisit my embellishments, and maybe share some ideas or food for thought. I wrote a post a while back on how I store my most used embellishments, but of course, thinking about it, there so happens to be a few more drawers and jars and containers filled with more of the stuff. The stuff! The bling! In my last post I focused mainly on what would me mostly likely to grab, and here are the leftovers! On the wall directly to the left of my worktop, …

Storage Sunday – How I store my paper punches

A good Sunday to you, dear reader! The month of August is nearing its end, can you believe it? For me, the autumn means new, fun projects, but for now, I want to share how I store some of my favourite scrapbooking tools: punches! While I certainly love some of my thingymajig tools for creating fun shapes for my projects, nothing beats a good and versatile punch! Paper punch storage can feel a bit tricky, as it tends to get a bit bulky. They ain’t small, but they are practical and close to indestructible. I keep mine in my plastic fantastic chest …

Storage Sunday – How I store and organize my stencils

Well hello there! It’s time for another instalment of Storage Sunday, and today I thought I’d share a simple way of storing and organizing stencils. I used to keep all my stencils in the original packaging, too keep them flat and to sort of keep track of the manufacturer. And then I kept them in a pile in a box like that. I found it wasn’t very practical and just became a bit of a hassle when it came to using the stencils, they weren’t very easy to get to and not very easy to put away after cleaning. First …

Storage Sunday – Organizing my date- and phrase stamps

Well hello there! I am slightly addicted to cute little date- and phrase stamps. They are so versatile and handy to have around! I do use them in some way or another on almost every project I create, since I at least put a date somewhere. But also, the small phrase stamps are just so perfect for that little extra touch on a page, in a cluster or on a small tag or label sticker. And you can use them over and over again. They take very little space, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Marvellous! Admittedly, I did use …

Storage Sunday – How I store my ink pads

Hello everybody! Welcome to another Storage Sunday. This time, I want to share how I am store my ink pads. I made it pretty easy for myself a while back, when I decided to purge a whole bunch of my really old smaller ink pads. I used to have a plethora of small ones from various brands, and I sort of collected them because of the wide range of colours. However, through the years, not only did I realize that some of them just never made a good impression when stamping, but that some brands just give a better result in the bigger versions, and that …

Storage Sunday – How I store my scrapbooking projects

Well, hello there! Hope you are having a wonderful and summery Sunday! This week I wanted to share a little bit about my scrapbooking storage with you guys. After having everything in piles, shoe boxes,  paper bags, and random plastic sleeves I think I have finally come to a solution that works for me, and even though it took a bit of an investment on my part, I feel okay with that. I am a projects person and a list person. Just as likely as I am to have two or three books I read at the same time, I also start a …

Storage Sunday – How I store my embellishments

Hiya everybody! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday! We got a lovely suggestion from our friend Joanne, and so this Sunday I want to share some of my storage for my scrapbooking embellishments with you! Embellishments are a big beast to cover; there are so many varieties and shapes and forms and philosophies on how to store it all. It feels like I have been through a million different ways of storage, and there are certainly proof of that in my stash, so to slim it down a little I will show a little bit of what is most current for …

Storage Sunday – How I store my pens, markers and suchlike

It’s safe to say that I have been a pen addict for most of my life. There has just always been a LOT of pens present, awlays. I love pens. The perfect pen is a thing of joy for me. Every pen has a specific purpose. There’s ALWAYS the Perfect Pen for every occasion. There! Now that that little confession is out of the way, let’s look at this weeks storage solution… for my pens, markers, and suchlike. Therese wrote a post last week and shared her excellent pen storage for her pens in her craft wardrobe, and I feel …

Storage Sunday – How I store my alphas: Stickers, Thickers and misc

Hello everybody, and welcome to another Storage Sunday! This time I thought I’d show you how I store my alpha stickers, Thickers, chipboards and whatnot. My storage solution for these items have changed a million times over my years of scrapbooking, depending on types of alphas and the amount collected.  I’ve had them in albums, binders, envelopes, plastic bags, boxes… I’ve had them together and separate, spread out in my stash and sorted away. When I first started out scrapbooking, alpha stickers felt like an expensive commodity, something hard to find, and something “I’d do without”. So in the beginning I mostly invested in practical alpha …

Storage Sunday – How I store colour (mists, sprays, stains, and more)

Hey there, scrapbookerinos and organizing buddies! I hope you are having a wonderful Easter, maybe even a crafty one, and hopefully some sunshine, and maybe even some chocolate, who knows? (Chocolate? Who said that? It wasn’t me. What? Chocolate…). This week I would like to talk about how I store some of my COLOUR! Last week my friend Therese, a.k.a the remarkable Tant Therese, showed us how she stores her colour sprays, mists and distress stains. I love her little hanging baskets in her craftdrobe (her re-purposed wardrobe and craft space extraordinaire)! So clever! I LOVE my mists and colour sprays. It …

Storage Sunday – Stickles Storage

Hey there! Time for another storage Sunday, where I flaunt my somewhat organized stashed. Or, like in this case, maybe a little bit less organized than I would want it to be. This weeks storage is all about those sparkly Stickles! Last week Therese shared her system for storing and organizing her Stickles over on our blog stuckintheglue.com,  and good heavens, I loved it. All sorted by colour and easily accessible, and I think that is a great way to get inspired to use them more often! I’ve gone for more of a let’s-shove-them-all-in-a-drawer kind of approach… In the edge of my …
