I have to say, that for once I started with some of my Christmas layouts almost immediately, and the reason for that is because of Mr Boo, who so lovingly supports me and my many interests and passions, and who gave me a Canon Selphy printer for my birthday in November. Being able to print photos on a whim at home really makes a world of difference, and I am very, very grateful.
This scrapbook layout is a short story about Christmas day, which, this year, I got to spend in England with Mr Boo’s family. It was wonderfully different, and also very wonderful to be able to celebrate the season with his amazing family, whom I love very much, and it meant a lot to me to be there this year.
I’ve been keeping this paper by Basic Grey in my Christmas Stash for quite a few years now (I think it’s form 2010 or something like that), finding it too pretty to shop up for Christmas cards. Well, this story was a good one for such a pretty paper.
I got a bit, shall I say, enthusiastic with the mists and sprays, but it in the end I feel, for me at least, this layout sort of shows my happy feelings for this occasion.
I even made a process video! So, if you want to know how I made this layout, and if you can spare the time and coffee you need to sit through the video (it got a bit longish, I need to prune my editing skills), pop by and have a look!
And make my day by giving it a thumbs up. That always cheers one up, wouldn’t you say? Ta!
