Happy Wednesday, scrappy people!
Today I wanted to share a scrapbook layout with you that I made earlier this year at a big scrapbooking event i Stockholm. I was there with my two very scrappiest friends, and had such a wonderful time, which certainly inspired me to make this layout about the three of us.
It came together quite quickly, even though I fussy cut the flowers from the Dear Lizzy “Serendipity” collection. The background paper is from Bo Bunny, “Forever Young”, I believe (slightly obsessed with this collection… there’s a paper with donuts on it that I just wish I had a purpose for). The gold Thickers are from Amy Tangerine, and I love them! One of the fastest ways ever to add a fun title to your layout in one go.
Anyway, I really wanted to use these three photos and decided to put them as close together as possible vertically. It’s a simple design really that still makes room for multiple photos, and is very adjustable according to what might fit your photos. Nudge it a bit more to either side and you have plenty of room for journaling!
I couldn’t help but stamp a few of those hashtag stamps from Tim Holtz! They just fit the subject of our friendship, since we often chat away in our social media apps.
Me and my friends, Malin and Therese, can really be like thee peas in a pod, but yet we are sooo different. Malin is the power scrapper, she just sits down and gets stuff DONE. Honestly, I have seen her make 30 Christmas cards in one sitting. I fuss around for a bit but then finally get to scrapping, liking what I do half the time and half the time I have no idea what I am doing. Therese puts a lot of thought and care into what she makes, and if she is not happy with the result that day, she will change direction completely. It’s just so funny, and so awesome that we still have so much fun when we craft together. I think our differences are our strengths!
I hope you enjoyed this layout share, and I am so happy you decided to come visit!
Thank you so much for visiting! I hope you’ll have a happy, scrappy day!
