It is sort of a special thing when you look back at the year that has gone by, and tally up the score, the good and the bad. I know in my heart that there where many good things that happened last year, but sometimes the negative gets the worst of ya. But somehow, through those things, I remember laughing, and feeling very loved. Even the worst day turns into something good, when you come home to someone who will always cheer you up, and who will always, after just spending a few minutes in the same room with that person, will make everything feel alright.
So, in that respect, team Boo had a rather spectacular year, and I am rather postitive that we will have another great one, which was what I had in mind when I made this scrapbook layout.
I am using two Instagram photos from New Years Eve (I am getting VERY addicted to using square photos on my layouts, fair warning to you all!). Since they where from that rather festive evening, I could of course not resist adding some glitter to the ink splatters.
I am using papers from the Jade Edition 12×12 Designer Paper Collection Pack, and the awesome thickers are the Parfait Kitten My Girl Printed Chipboard Thickers, from the My Girl Collection by American Crafts. Also, I cut out some details from the Amy Tangerine Yes, Please 6×6 paper pad (I must have been one of the last scrappers in the world to pick that up; was thrilled to find it in one of the craft stores in the UK over Christmas).
I’m a lucky girl, so I am. I cannot imagine anybody else I would rather spend my 2014 with! Here’s to another spectacular year, Mr Boo!
