An otterly great birthday – Lawn Fawn birthday card

Hey there, It’s been a long time since I posted a card, so I thought it was time! My friend Therese had her birthday in the beginning of this week, and it was just the perfect moment to try out my new stamp set from Lawn Fawn making her a birthday card. I have been coveting this stamp set for a looong time, and who can blame me, look how adorable it is! I love otters, and this stamp was just too cute not to pick up (it’s the Five Year Clear Stamps). It’s my first stamp set I’ve gotten together with the …

Storage Sunday – How I store my ink pads

Hello everybody! Welcome to another Storage Sunday. This time, I want to share how I am store my ink pads. I made it pretty easy for myself a while back, when I decided to purge a whole bunch of my really old smaller ink pads. I used to have a plethora of small ones from various brands, and I sort of collected them because of the wide range of colours. However, through the years, not only did I realize that some of them just never made a good impression when stamping, but that some brands just give a better result in the bigger versions, and that …

Storage Sunday – How I store my scrapbooking projects

Well, hello there! Hope you are having a wonderful and summery Sunday! This week I wanted to share a little bit about my scrapbooking storage with you guys. After having everything in piles, shoe boxes,  paper bags, and random plastic sleeves I think I have finally come to a solution that works for me, and even though it took a bit of an investment on my part, I feel okay with that. I am a projects person and a list person. Just as likely as I am to have two or three books I read at the same time, I also start a …

Storage Sunday – How I store my embellishments

Hiya everybody! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday! We got a lovely suggestion from our friend Joanne, and so this Sunday I want to share some of my storage for my scrapbooking embellishments with you! Embellishments are a big beast to cover; there are so many varieties and shapes and forms and philosophies on how to store it all. It feels like I have been through a million different ways of storage, and there are certainly proof of that in my stash, so to slim it down a little I will show a little bit of what is most current for …

Layouts from the NSD Weekend 2015

So I had a great NSD weekend, folks! I love National Scrapbook day! It’s like one of the best holidays a scrapbooker could ask for. All in all I made 11 scrapbook layouts, which feels great! Especially since i have decided to make 50 projects (layouts, project life pages or cards) before I can go shopping again for new products. I hope to get it done by the end of May! I was on a spending freeze from Christmas until the 26th of April, which is when I went to a big craft convention in Stockholm (Scrap and Pearl), and had a …

Storage Sunday – How I store my alphas: Stickers, Thickers and misc

Hello everybody, and welcome to another Storage Sunday! This time I thought I’d show you how I store my alpha stickers, Thickers, chipboards and whatnot. My storage solution for these items have changed a million times over my years of scrapbooking, depending on types of alphas and the amount collected.  I’ve had them in albums, binders, envelopes, plastic bags, boxes… I’ve had them together and separate, spread out in my stash and sorted away. When I first started out scrapbooking, alpha stickers felt like an expensive commodity, something hard to find, and something “I’d do without”. So in the beginning I mostly invested in practical alpha …

(inter)National Scrapbook Day 2015 is finally here!

It’s here, finally, the (inter)National Scrapbook Day 2015! I will be a very busy bee all day (and all weekend) long crafting my butt off, mainly following the challenges over at the Scrap Gals facebook community, who will have challenges going on from 9 am to 9 pm. That is SCT though (standard central time), so for me in little ol’ Sweden, it will be from 4 in the afternoon to 4 in the morning! Cheesh, I will need a lot of chocolate. I will try and post regularly throughout the day on my Instagram account, so be sure to follow me there! …

How to pack for a Scrapbooking Crop

Hello everyone! Today I want to share a few tips and tricks about how to pack for a scrapbooking crop. As I am SUPER EXCITED about going to my first big crop next weekend, I thought I’d do a special Storage Sunday Post. Me and my scrappy homies, Malin and Therese, are going to the Stockholm Scrap and Pearl event! It is basically a Scrapbooking and Jewelry Making Convention, and a huge crop, where they seat about 1,000 crafters each day for three days (here are some photos from earlier events). Amazing! I’ve never been, and Malin and Therese, my scrappy sweethearts, got us tickets …

Storage Sunday – How I store colour (mists, sprays, stains, and more)

Hey there, scrapbookerinos and organizing buddies! I hope you are having a wonderful Easter, maybe even a crafty one, and hopefully some sunshine, and maybe even some chocolate, who knows? (Chocolate? Who said that? It wasn’t me. What? Chocolate…). This week I would like to talk about how I store some of my COLOUR! Last week my friend Therese, a.k.a the remarkable Tant Therese, showed us how she stores her colour sprays, mists and distress stains. I love her little hanging baskets in her craftdrobe (her re-purposed wardrobe and craft space extraordinaire)! So clever! I LOVE my mists and colour sprays. It …

Storage Sunday – Stickles Storage

Hey there! Time for another storage Sunday, where I flaunt my somewhat organized stashed. Or, like in this case, maybe a little bit less organized than I would want it to be. This weeks storage is all about those sparkly Stickles! Last week Therese shared her system for storing and organizing her Stickles over on our blog stuckintheglue.com,  and good heavens, I loved it. All sorted by colour and easily accessible, and I think that is a great way to get inspired to use them more often! I’ve gone for more of a let’s-shove-them-all-in-a-drawer kind of approach… In the edge of my …

Storage Sunday – How I store my scrapbook paper

Hello and welcome to this weeks Storage Sunday! I am a nut for sorting and organizing my stash of scrapbooking products, and I thoroughly enjoyed lasts weeks post by Therese on Stuckintheglue.com, on how she stores her scrapbooking paper. I love how she’s cut up her papers into a 6×6 size for her scrappy purposes, and how she organizes them by colour! I am not quite as organized in that aspect (in fact, writing this post made me realize that I am a bit all over the place), but this is how I store my scrapbooking paper. I keep my beloved …
