Storage Sunday – How I store my alphas: Stickers, Thickers and misc

Hello everybody, and welcome to another Storage Sunday!

This time I thought I’d show you how I store my alpha stickers, Thickers, chipboards and whatnot. My storage solution for these items have changed a million times over my years of scrapbooking, depending on types of alphas and the amount collected.  I’ve had them in albums, binders, envelopes, plastic bags, boxes… I’ve had them together and separate, spread out in my stash and sorted away.

When I first started out scrapbooking, alpha stickers felt like an expensive commodity, something hard to find, and something “I’d do without”. So in the beginning I mostly invested in practical alpha stamps. The few alpha stickers I owned, I hesitated to use, so that I wouldn’t “waste” them.

Nowadays though, I LOVE using various types of products for my titles, love how they add to a page as an element and design feature, and have since collected a larger variety and do not mind using them all up if I can.

So how do I store them now?

I love these cheap white baskets I found at TGR, and use them throughout my craft space. They are easy to grab, quick to put back and a good size for a lot of my products:

The smaller stickers I put into A5 pvc page protectors, so that small letters wont fall off and get lost.

Other types of alphas, more bulky packs, get their own basket:

I have to confess though that I tend to forget about them, since my main basket with my beloved Thickers is my first choice. I must challenge myself to grab this basket and rummage through it more often! Stickers and Thickers are not the only alphas out there, people!

I hope you enjoyed this Storage Sunday post! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
